Philip McKernan co founded his first business at the age of 4 when his two older brothers and he started a grass cutting business in a neighborhood of Dublin, Ireland many years back. After a dispute over payment the partnership broke up and they went back to competing in other areas of life such as sport. Philip sights his competitive up bringing with his brothers as a major reason why he and his two brothers as so entrepreneurial. The entrepreneurial spirit was dampened for a while until Philip opened up a tuck shop (candy shop) out of his locker in school. He found a niche in the market and took advantage of it be supplying a product that was banned by schools across the country. The business took off and Philip who was 13 got a glimpse of independence that helped shape his destiny.

Today Philip is an experienced Real Estate investor and educator internationally. He has purchased property in Ireland, Finland, South Africa, UK, France and Canada.

Philip is also an International Speaker and Educator and has spoken to thousands of people in Ireland, UK Canada and the U.S. Philip speaks on the subjects of Real Estate, The Power of Confidence and The Pursuit of Wealth & Happiness and has a serious passion for this. He has also produced two Student Education DVD’s and workshops which were distributed to every high school in Ireland and seen by thousands of Students.

Before moving into Real Estate, Philip worked in the Wine industry for five years and had a position as an assistant wine maker in Australia where he worked with Geoff Merrill and Peter Lehmann Wines before returning to Ireland.

After the wine business Philip spent another five years in the Coffee industry where he helped set up the Java Republic Coffee Company and traveled the globe is search of the finest beans. In the five years Philip ran the sales division the business went from a start up to the second largest coffee company in Ireland and the fastest growing Coffee Company in Europe.

Travel has been a major part of Philip’s life for many years having traveled and done business in over 55 countries around the World and has helped shape Philip’s outlook on life.

Philip is a regular contributor to National Magazines, Radio and Television on both sides of the Atlantic. As a result of his growing exposure in the real estate Market in Canada Philip was asked to be one of only 51 real estate investors whose story appears in a new best seller – 51 Success Stories from Canadian Real Estate Investors.
